Project History

 It is BKBMC's policy to use a systems approach to manage projects effectively and efficiently to ensure the completion of all projects within scope, schedule, and budget.

Project Managers (PM) are responsible to the Program Manager for the planning, organizing, directing, and controlling of company resources to accomplish the completion of assigned projects within scope, schedule, and budget, while maintaining customer expectations. Specific responsibilities include:

  • Provide leadership and direction for site managers and supervisors assigned to their project; maintain personnel actions.
  • Maintain a project plan.
  • Coordinate with internal organizations to ensure the proper resources are assigned to successfully execute the project.
  • Ensure cost controls are properly exercised and follow an Earned Value Management approach to project management.
  • Ensure project invoicing is accurate, complete, and presented to the customer on time
  • Maintain the customer relationships necessary for healthy project execution.
  • Ensure all project reporting is accurate and accomplished in a timely manner.
  • Complete project closeout tasks and reports in a timely fashion.
  • Support the Business Development and proposal preparation processes.
